Physical Description: Akenai is rather plain at first glance. Long brown hair, slim but curvy frame, an unremarkable height. The only thing that distinguishes Akenai from other girls on the street are her eyes. Bright green, they seem to glow at night. This is the result of her clan's Kekke Genkai- the Yoruteikan. Eyes that allow them to see in the dark, as if they are wearing nightvision goggles.

Dressed rather plainly in black knee length leggings and a blue tunic with her hitai-ate tied around her waist like a belt, Akenai wears knee high boot-like sandals, and her hair tied back from her face.

Personality: Akenai is usually a calm, collected girl. Quick witted and loyal, she loves a challenge and will not hesitate to help any of her friends. Cross her, and revenge will be swift and painful; Akenai does have a temper, however well-in-check she may claim it is.

Likes: Reading, learning, running, cats, sake, strawberries, chocolate, playing with her brothers, dangerous missions, creating new jutsu, training

Dislikes: paperwork, being late, peppers, onions, dogs, loud music, children that aren't her youngest brother, squirrels (she thinks they're creepy)

Flaws: Pretends to be calm while hiding her real temper, slightly shallow/self-absorbed, likes to show off

Quirks: licking her lips, biting her lip, playing with her hair, chewing on things (like senbon and pencils)

Background: Akenai was born in the Leaf Village. Her father, a medical researcher, and her mother (a homemaker) raised her and her twin brother, Tatsumaru. She entered the Academy at age 6 and had graduated just before her 10th birthday. She spent a year and a half with her genin team, Genko Tatsumaru and Himura Koroki, before taking the Chuunin Selection Exams. She and her brother passed, and she began to lead a Chuunin team. Not long after, her younger brother, Takayuki was born. When she was sixteen, she was recruited to ANBU's Tortue/Interrogation unit for her Genjutsu skills. She was just recently appointed to Jounin status.

Bloodline/Clan: Genko Clan: Yoruteikan (Night Vision Eyes) - The Yoruteikan is similar to the Byakugan in the way that the eye can see beyond the normal range of a human. That is to say, the Yoruteikan allows its user to see in the dark. The eye is bright green, and when it is activated (by sending chakra to the eyes), they appear to glow. While the Yoruteikan is activated, everything, while visible, takes on a green tint. It should not be used during day light, as the eye will take in too much light and could possibly injure the user's eyes.
